Yulia Frolova was born on September 11, 1936 in Moscow. As a schoolgirl, the young artist became one of the winners of the annual international competition for the best children's drawing in Delhi (India). In 1955 she graduated from the Moscow Architectural and Construction Technical School and left for the Komsomol construction site in Siberia. In 1967 she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Tomsk Construction Engineering University and in 1968 returned to Moscow, where she worked as an architect and then as head of the group of architects. In 1968-1970, she studied at the Faculty of Advanced Training of Architects at MArchI. She is a member of the Union of Architects, the author of the projects of buildings and structures including railway stations on the Baikal-Amur Mainline and in the cities: Vladimir, Tyumen, Kirzhach.
Since 1987, Yulia lives in Novokosino, and works fruitfully in watercolour and graphics technique. Most of all she likes to paint nature, flowers and architectural monuments. From trips to the Arkhangelsk region, Central Asia, Transcaucasia, the cities of the Golden Ring she always brought new works, drawings, sketches. She repeatedly participated in exhibitions of artworks.
Since 2012, in the “Novokosino” branch of GBU TCSO “Veshnyaki” at Novokosinskaya St., 13, bldg. 1 Yulia Konstantinovna leads an art class “Magic Brush”, where the technique of watercolor painting successfully mastered by the people of Novokosino.
The paintings are for sale. They are framed in mat and wooden frames. Protected by PET glass. Prices for paintings range from one to ten thousand rubles, depending on their size and complexity.
